Here’s what 15 Louisiana lawmakers said after Gov. John Bel Edwards’ opening address to the nine-day special session of the Legislature, in which he outlined plans to eliminate a $304 million midyear budget deficit in part by tapping $119 million from the state’s “rainy day fund.”
